Product Overview
The Houston Reception Desk was created to appeal to companies with a modern mindset. Its radius shape adds a visual and functional attraction that sets this lobby furniture apart from standard, off-the-shelf options. The curvature of its design puts workspace and business tools at arm’s length. The (12"D) transaction top and work surface (24"D), by virtue of its shape, adds increased customer access as well as additional user workspace. The return work surface (optional) affords the user extra work space as well as the ability to conduct face-to-face communication with customers.
This reception desk, though designed with clean, modern lines, offers visual intensity by virtue of its 4" brushed-aluminum base and inlaid horizontal bands. Your selection of materials and colors can increase or subordinate the visual impact. You have the design flexibility with this product to choose from any number of material options. In this way, you can control the look and feel of your entryway, as well as the dollars it cost you to get there.
Our entry-level size and material for this desk is 8' in diameter; however, because all of our products are made to your size, user number, color, and material selection, we can offer you the perfect match for your company's needs. Reception Desk as Shown
The reception desk shown here is manufactured from high-quality domestic grade plywood and overlaid with brushed aluminum and color-through white gloss specialty laminate. Our color-through laminates are designed to hide the brown phenolic backing of standard laminates. The inlay on its face is subset 3/8", featuring 1" aluminum bands. The desk shows at 8'W and 42"H from the floor to the surface of its 12"D transaction top. The Houston Reception Desk also shows off a left return, which maintains the consistency of its facing profile.
